Of many games played in ancient times, “Yu-Gi-Oh! GX” a comic based trading card game is one of most ancient card games which were included in the franchise which was spawned from “Yu-Gi-Oh” a Japanese manga. It was created by a person named Kazuki Takahashi. Manga is a collective name consisting of print cartoons and comics in Japanese language which conforms to the Japanese style as in the late 19th century.
In the game Yu-Gi-Oh! GX there are various characters available, some of them being on the positive and some others on the evil side. The main character in this game is Jaden Yuki who is a fun-loving, headstrong and talented duelist who functions as the main protagonist in the game. Aster Phoenix is another fictional character in the game that searches for the person responsible for the kidnapping of his father, and a single card which was stolen when he was young, with the intent of becoming the greatest duelist in order to the rid world of crime.
Also, in this game there exists Warrior-type monsters set card series named “Yu-Gi-Oh Elemental Hero”. These cards have no specific attributes; apart from a few exceptions, and can be used most frequently by Jaden-Yuki. They can also be used by Aster-Phoenix only twice. These cards of elemental hero series are focused heavily on fusion summoning. In the game, for allowing a huge amount of quick power and flexibility in cases of a dedicated deck, most primary elemental heroes can be fused with one another.
Besides the advantage of fusion, they can be used in combination and also be supported by more Trap cards and by many spells which will grant the player of the game an infinite number of strategies. Whenever a situation calls for a particular fusion monster, the fusion substitute and searching options for the material monsters will be vital in better elemental hero-deck.
In OCG and TCG, the most supported among archetypes is the elemental hero’s card. There will be at least a support card, which is specific to a monster, available for most of the non fusion individual elemental hero’s cards. Further, common cards for Warrior support like “Army Reinforcement " can also be supplemented by these cards. Also, there exists a maximum limit for monsters to store in a fusion deck which is 15. “Elemental Hero Neos” is the best supported elemental hero-monster (Single). Possibly it is the only Fusion material monster that has about 13 different fusion monsters, but the majority of fusion happens with Neo Spacians, which is a sub archetype and nearly as well supported as that of traditional Elemental Hero cards.
With all these advantages Yu-Gi-Oh Elemental Hero Cards provide, they do have their weaknesses. These cards though can be strong in the long run, lack the beginning strength. Most of these cards rely on the fusions to remain in the game long enough to bring Neos and his fusions out. Use of polymerization, activation and fusion spells can be eliminated by a good anti spell deck. It will be easy to take down an E- Hero Deck with the help of a deck which has the ability to destroy the fusions before and after the summoning. Thus, the “Yu-Gi-Oh elemental hero” card plays a very vital role in crucial situations of the game and helps the player as a trump card.
